When you place an order through the app, a "Postmate" accepts your order and fulfils it for you. You can even track the current status of the order and see where your postmate is on the map. When the order comes, you just have to sign in the postmate's phone. There is no hassle of paying him in cash, they charge your credit card for the services. The company is now valued at more than $16 million. Waze is an Israeli startup founded in 2008. It is a GPS-based geographical navigation app that uses real time traffic updates and travel times from other users. Shyp, the uber for sending packages to launch in Miami. The San Francisco startup that began its operations in March 2014 was launched in New York in September 2014. The founders of the company plan on expanding their operations in Miami just before the Art Basel Festival in December 2014. The Company raised a capital of $10 million in July led by Sherpa Ventures (also investors in Uber). Shyp describes itself as "The easiest way to ship anything, anywhere in the world." Shyp allows users to send packages using just their smartphones. The user just needs to click a picture of the product that they want to send and a Shyp Hero will pick it up from your doorstep and send it to the Shyp warehouse. The product will be packed at the warehouse and sent to the destination with the minimum postage rates. Get around is a peer-to-peer car sharing service. Get around allows people to rent out their cars to other people when they are not using them. The car owners decide the duration and rates for the rental.
